Ferromatik Milacron, based in
Malterdingen near Freiburg in the south of Germany, employs
approximately 650 staff and is the European production site of
Milacron Inc, USA, for plastic injection moulding machines.
The product range and constructional features are the:
K-TEC series: fully hydraulic injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 400 to 4,500 kN. The high performance K-TEC series is distinguished by high injection pressure and high injection rates required for, high flow length to wall thickness. All machines are fully closed-loop to ensure mould protection in high speed applications.
Magna and Maxima machines: fully hydraulic injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 2,000 to 31,000 kN. The Magna and Maxima machines are robust and reliable standard injection moulding machines. They are the ideal machines for plastics processors, who need a reliable and cost-efficient machine for their individual applications.
Elektra series: with the parent company Milacron Inc, Ferromatik supplies the broadest range of all-electric machines, by far. The clamping forces of these machines are from 500 to 6,600 kN. The Elektra all-electric machines are fast, quiet and energy-efficient. All electric machines are extremely environmentally friendly, they do not require any hydraulic oil, do not need to be cooled and do not affect the ambient temperature through heat dissipation.
