Biography

He graduated as Mechanical Engineer from Technical University in Salzburg, Austria. In 1993 he joined WILCO AG’s Customer Service Center, responsible for all service and spare parts activities. In 1996 he moved to the United States, where he was Managing Director of WILCO USA, INC.

Since August 1999, Gerhard Schramm is Sales Director at  WILCO AG’s Head Office in Wohlen, Switzerland. He is responsible for worldwide sales and marketing activities.

Abstract

WILCO AG’s complete line of leak detection equipment includes a patented vacuum based technology to test for leaks on pre-filled syringes. In addition, a WILCO AG developed laser based head space gas analyser allows for non-destructive and fully automatic, 100% in-line measuring of oxygen levels inside the syringes.

Test capacities up to 600 products per minute are achieved with these fast and precise technologies.

Integration into PAT (Process Analytical Technology) platforms are possible, due to a compact machine design.
