A brief history and background

Ownership
AB W H Nordvall & Co was established as a family business in 1907. Sverker and Mikael Dahl own the company.

Turnover
The budgeted turnover for 2009 is SEK 167 million.

Production
All production is achieved in the company’s own premises in the town of Sjöbo in southern Sweden.
Production areas and office space cover 8,000 sq. m.

Sales and marketing
The company employs its own sales and marketing staff.
There are sales office in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Norrkoping.       

General
For nearly 100 years, AB W H Nordvall & Co has invested in enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff and state-of-the-art equipment; a philosophy that has helped the company reach its leading position as a manufacturer of self-adhesive labels. By having skilled personnel and an extremely well equipped production unit, we are able to satisfy customer requirements in an intelligent and efficient manner.

Capacity
AB W H Nordvall & Co has 18 production lines. Printing methods include offset, letterpress, UV-flexo, screen, hot foiling, and digital printing. We also have machinery for varnishing, cutting and creasing and in-line winding.
Production includes everything from high-quality colour décor labels and profiling to blank labels for thermal-printers and thermal-transfer printers. To satisfy additional needs we have researched and developed Multikett. This multi-leaf construction is based on a self-adhesive label.
The safety procedures applied during the production of pharmaceutical labels is of the highest level; printing, finishing, storage and distribution facilities are isolated from all other production.
We have during 2006 started an RFID-division.
We can provide the complete tailored solution which enables your company to implement RFID now, from labels and smart labels to hardware, software, antennae, printers, system consultation and engineering, installation, service and support.
In short- everything around RFID.

Since 2008 we also deliver shrinksleeves to our customers.
