Biography

Wim Vos is Senior Technical Service and Application Development Representative for Eastman’s Specialty Plastics Business Organization and is based in Capelle a/d IJssel, Netherlands. Nowadays he is responsible for injection molding for molded application development and technical service in the Benelux, DACH, Nordic, UK, Ireland and OWE countries.  

He started his international plastics career in 1987 when he joined General Electric Plastics, Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands. He educated in 1987 as a chemical engineer (his background is medical as chemical).  He had several different positions in QA, product development in R&D, material characterization, Technical Service and Application Development Engineer.

In 2002 he joined the Eastman Chemical Company.
